Welcome to UPAD!

Uttar Pradesh Association of Detroit was started 16 years ago with the mission to unite people from Uttar Pradesh, preserve its culture and traditions and pass them on to the next generation. UPAD provides opportunities for the Indians from Uttar Pradesh to share their unique cultural experiences. UPAD organizes a variety of social and cultural events throughout the year to promote its cultural heritage and diversity. It serves as a platform to foster goodwill between India and United States. Local talents, businesses and volunteers are the backbone of this organization.

Under the umbrella of UPAD, today this organization serves all Indian communities. Our members are from the states of Kashmir to Kerala. Join us and make a difference in our community!
 
President's Message

Dear friends:

On behalf of Uttar Pradesh Association of Detroit, I would like to wish you a very Happy 2010. I would like to thank the entire committee for being part of my vision.

Our vision is to grow as an association. We can only accomplish that with the support of all the present and the past members. We are counting on active participation from all of you so we can take the UPAD to the next level.

We want to make this year a very memorable one. We will be hosting several functions that will touch the needs of all age groups. Our goal is to bring the community together and enjoy the festivities of Indian and American culture.

Once again, I want to thank and appreciate all the volunteers who have helped our Association grow for the past years.
