Uttar Pradesh Association of Detroit was started 20 years ago with the mission to unite people from Uttar Pradesh, preserve its culture and traditions and pass them on to the next generation. UPAD provides opportunities for the Indians from Uttar Pradesh to share their unique cultural experiences. UPAD organizes a variety of social and cultural events throughout the year to promote its cultural heritage and diversity. It serves as a platform to foster goodwill between India and United States. Local talents, businesses and volunteers are the backbone of this organization.
